Introducing City On My Chest, a clothing brand that exemplifies community activism and leaves a lasting impact. Founded by Tommy, a visionary from Newport News, Virginia, City On My Chest is more than just a fashion brand.
Tommy's upbringing played a significant role in shaping his passion for community impact. He watched his father, a respected local high school football coach of almost 40 years, mentor and guide numerous young men, including NFL quarterbacks Aaron Brooks and Michael Vick. His experience of witnessing the power of mentorship and community activism inspired Tommy to channel his drive into a brand that could make a real difference.
But, how? Well, the brand aims to make a tangible difference in people's lives through various initiatives such as youth mentoring programs, festivals, school pep rallies, financial literacy classes, entrepreneurship seminars, and community service programs. And with his background as a former college coach at esteemed institutions such as the University of Miami, University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech, as well as his experience as an NFL coach and scout for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New Orleans Saints, Tommy brings a unique perspective to the industry.
City On My Chest connects with individuals from all walks of life, regardless of their background or ethnicity to unite them under the common goal of uplifting communities and fostering change. Through their accomplishments, including over a million dollars in sales and receiving community awards, City On My Chest has garnered recognition from Virginia Governor Glenn Younkin and United States Congressman Bobby Scott.

One of Tommy's missions is to apply the knowledge he has gained from his journey to guide others to the right direction. “ I am a person who has made it to the mountain top and knows what it takes to get there.. and my number one goal is to apply that knowledge to the next generation.”
